If you're already using the new site, this article will explain how you connect your account to your existing 750 account so that you can import stats, streaks, badges, and eventually full entries as well.
- First, go to 750words.com and log in.
- Click on "Settings" in the top nav, and then click on "Your Info"
- You should see a modal open up with options to change your name, email address, etc.
- Scroll down in the modal until you see a section titled "Other information".
- Under "Private import code (do not share):" there should be a series of numbers and letters in green. Copy that to your clipboard.
- Now, go back to new.750words.com and log in.
- Click on the 3 vertical dots in the top nav to open the navigation menu.
- Click on "Account".
- Click on the "Account Information" button.
- Enter the green code you got from the other site into the box labeled, "Migration token".
- Hit the "Save info" button.
- That's it! Over the next couple hours your account should be imported (faster if you don't have a lot of entries). If you click on "Account" in the navigation menu in the future, you should see a report saying how far your account has been migrated.
